About Us

The Crown Jewel of the peninsula

Lighthouse Cinema is a staple of Pacific Grove. It was established on July 17, 1987, by brothers John and Sal Enea. More than just a movie theater, it’s a place where first dates are had, friendships are made, and families come together to enjoy the big-screen experience. You can smell the popcorn before you even enter the doors. Lighthouse Cinema is a little piece of comfort that we want to share with everyone!

The Enea family reacquired the cinema on May 12, 2023, and then sold it in August of 2025 to Dr. Aymen Adeeb. With the help of the team—David Diaz, Rachel Sarchet, and Chris Cerney—Dr. Adeeb is revamping it to be the true “The Crown Jewel of the peninsula.”
